Abstract

Optimization of the experimental trials via considering the interactions of numerical and categorical factors possesses important advantages over traditional one-factor-at-each-time methods. The most important benefit of the modern optimization techniques generally entitled "Response Surface Method or RSM" is the significant saving of time and money. From another aspect of view, the application of such methods offers the best combination of factor levels with the aim of achieving optimum response. Another significant beneficial feature is the ANOVA mathematical model that enables the prediction of response. In the light of above explanations, RSM might have substantial application in the field of Pharmacy such as the optimization of pharmaceutical synthesis, optimizing modern pharmaceutical and drug delivery formulations, methodological optimization in pharmacoinformatics and Etc.
