Implementation of the new integrated medicinal chemistry/pharmacology course sequence in the Pharmacy curriculum
Implementation of the new integrated medicinalchemistry/pharmacologycourse sequence in the pharmacy curriculum at the pharmacy college of the university of Michigan in 2010, resulted in more success of an integratedcourse sequence in comparisonwith theclassiccourse model, wherethere waslittle communication between faculty membersand also little synchrony withtherapeutics. Upon the relevant program, shortcomingsof the oldmodel were determined, and an opportunity was provided for active learning and applicationsto the clinical setting. Moreover, therelevanceof basic science disciplines to pharmaceutical care was highlighted.
School of Pharmacy of Ardabil University of Medical Sciences (ArUMS) is dedicated to educate student pharmacists to work in share with other health professionals to provide accessible and integrative pharmaceutical care with the goal of enhancing patient outcomes. School at a Glance
