The results of Dr Saleh Khezri's thesis (graduate of pharmacy) has been published in the journal of Environmental Toxicology entitled Chrysin ameliorates aluminum phosphide‐induced oxidative stress and mitochondrial damages in rat cardiomyocytes and isolated mitochondria under supervision of Dr Ahmad Salimi.
Environmental Toxicology publishes in the areas of toxicity and toxicology of environmental pollutants in air, dust, sediment, soil and water, and natural toxins in the environment. Of particular interest are: (1)Toxic or biologically disruptive impacts of anthropogenic chemicals such as pharmaceuticals, industrial organics, agricultural chemicals, and by-products such as chlorinated compounds from water disinfection and waste incineration; (2)Natural toxins and their impacts; (3)Biotransformation and metabolism of toxigenic compounds, food chains for toxin accumulation or biodegradation; (4) Assays of toxicity, endocrine disruption, mutagenicity, carcinogenicity, ecosystem impact and health hazard and (5) Environmental and public health risk assessment, environmental guidelines, environmental policy for toxicants. This journal, with impact factor 3.118 is published by Wiley and indexed in database such as ISI, PubMed and Scopus.
